Food Intolerance Testing

A healthy outside starts from the inside.

– Robert Urich

What is an Allergy or Intolerance?

Firstly – What is an Allergy or Intolerance?

Allergy – The original definition, and the one that Feelwell uses, is that; an allergy is an inappropriate response to a benign substance’.

The inappropriate response can be a malabsorption of vitamins, a skin reaction, breathing issues or a more severe reaction.

Food Intolerance testing

Tested using Kinesiology; no needles and no expensive lab tests.

When the body is stressed it can become unbalanced. Cortisol suppresses the immune response and leads to histamine levels rising; this means that our sensitivity level to a substance becomes increased.  In this state the immune system becomes reactive and it can feel like you are allergic to everything.

By identifying and clearing the issues one treatment at a time your body can have the chance to re-balance itself.

The feelwell approach

The treatment used at Feelwell is a mix of various medical disciplines such as acupuncture, chiropractic, kinesiology and nutrition.

The stimulation of pressure points along the spine are used while the client is holding the allergen.  After the treatment, a strong MRT indicates the treatment was successful and the client will rest for 10-15 mins in the presence of the item.  Only one allergen (item) is treated on a given session.

A 25 hour avoidance is recommended but not always possible therefore another system is provided within the session.

What to expect

It can be scary coming to a 1st appointment.

What will you be asked?

  • When were you last well?
  • What was going on around that time?
  • What makes you feel better?
  • What makes you feel worse?
  • Is it different at anytime of day, season or place?
  • What do you suspect?

With these answers and many more, depending on your symptoms, we will work out where we need to be looking.

  • Foods
  • Drinks
  • Emotions
  • Environmental influences
  • Structural issues
  • Back to GP with a clear direction

Other therapies offered

After years of discovery I am so grateful to Leanne for discovering the root of my problems . You do really do walk away from a session from her feeling well and being giving factual reasons as to why you have been feeling that way for so long . I truly grateful for everything that she has done for me and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
